Friends of the Fowey Estuary

Thank you Phil for making 15 members and friends so welcome in your lovely aquarium! We saw many different species ranging from a large Conger Eel to Anemones, Prawns and some strange, tiny green worms... All the species were native or visit our waters, showing the amazing diversity in our rock pools and deeper water offshore. We learnt some really interesting facts, for example that Rays take 6 months to mature in their egg cases. Phil identified the creatures in the rockpool sections for us and put in some food to entice the Clingfish and Butterfish which we hadn't seen, to come out of hiding.
